Hi guys! So today’s class was conducted by beloved Dr Khalid. On today’s class, we learnt about the principles of multimedia. Dr Khalid asked us what we know about multimedia. A lot of opinion came out from our mouth. Then, he showed us two videos:

First video: The video was about travel vlog using an action camera. The main purpose of the video was to show us on how to insert suitable songs to your video.

Second video: This video was about Dr Khalid’s holiday with his beloved family at Death Valley, USA. This video was quite lovely and adorable.

So, after finished watching the videos, Dr Khalid asked us to give our opinion regarding the two videos based on what we have learnt about multimedia. Then we have to present it in front. There were pros and cons in both of the videos. I prefer more on the first video because it was interesting and eye catching. I also love the music the user used and the place that user went. Kind of attract me. But the second video was more to family and love which will soften your heart.

Next, we were asked to compile background sounds together by implementing the skills and tips given by Dr Khalid. Basically, there were two important tips to compile sounds. First of all is the application to convert video format (MP4) to sound format (MP3). The app is called Listen To You Tube. It’s simple! You just copy the link of your desire video in Youtube and paste it on the app. Abracadabra! Your video has been converted to sound. Secondly, use Audacity program to compile your sounds to make it as one sound. Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. The interface is translated into many languages.

I hope with these useful skills can help our group for our short video production. May Allah bless! 🙂
